Gallery 5

Another style created entirely digitally, using vector graphics. I use this style when a greater amount of realism and detail is required, yet keeping it as vector gives it a more modern look as the light and dark areas are created using blocks of colour rather than graduated shading.

This style has been used both in advertising and educational publishing. You can see in this gallery the cover illustration for the novel 'Running Free' by Ann Lovelace. Click on the thumbnail to see the enlarged version which shows how I created the illustration in the Illustrator package, then added a Photoshop filter to make it look like a 1940's litho poster.
