About Corin Page Illustration:

I am a freelance illustrator based in south London. Since graduating from Chelsea School of Art in 1992 with an honours degree in Illustration, I have worked full time as an illustrator and visualiser, gaining experience in the fields of design, advertising, publishing and packaging.

I work in digital format using a drawing tablet, but I often use a hand drawn line as a starting point.

I have produced illustrations for web sites, usually involving character creation.

I can also produce logos where an illustrative element is required, and I have several painting styles that have been used widely in corporate literature and advertising.

My range also includes cartoons, educational illustration, visuals, storyboards, roughs and concepts. My experience in the various fields of illustration and my adaptability in styles is due largely to spending a number of years as an in-house illustrator for some leading London design groups. This experience provided me with an invaluable understanding of clients’ needs and enabled me to produce work in a style suited to the job in hand, rather than a style that just suits me.

A large proportion of my current work is in the field of educational publishing. I have also worked very closely with a hardwood conservatory company over the past 5 years, producing architectural artist's impressions of the proposed conservatory, orangery or garden room, painted in with the client's house. This gives the client a great idea of what the finished article will look like before committing to an expensive purchase. I have also used digital retouching techniques to produce more realistic approaches for those that require it.
